I just made an order through Current Catalog dot com. for Christmas and birthday paper.

You probably remember the adorable animal artwork on the note cards we grew up with.  Cute bunnies, sweet birds, chipmunks, mice, and flowers which Current did.

Their wrapping is charming and beautiful.  All of these are glossy papers your boxes won't tear through.  If you love Hallmark quality wrapping paper, you'll love this!

The wrapping paper is very nice.  I hate those bags they sell at QVC.  I like to use tissue paper too.  Green or Red tissue and use a handmade bow.

Current has beautiful wrapping paper and all the embellishments.  I’ve used it for years. Thanks for the pictures, @ECBG!

My pet peeve; cheap wrapping paper that's so brittle and thin, it actually cracks and breaks when you fold it.  Or it so thin that it tears when you touch it.

@ECBG... It's great to hear "Current" still makes heavy-weight Christmas gift wrapping paper! I haven't ordered from them in years. I have so many things (Christmas paper, bows, etc.) that I've accummulated over the years that it will be a while before I will order again ... but it's nice to know this. Thank you for letting us know!

• I only use good quality heavy wrapping paper    Im Very particular with my wrappings, I love giving  beautifully wrapped gifts and spend hours wrapping ,  I love add ons and quality ribbon.  I never use the bags like they sell on the Q .  They may be easy ,  but they are not for me.  Some of the paper shown looks just like gift wrap I bought at pier 1 a couple of years ago,  the birch design is one I used 2 yrs ago.  I lke Hallmark paper a lot too.

For those that might not know, Sam's Club carries HUGE rolls of wrapping paper. It is made by Hallmark, is done two sided, coordinating patterns and super thick. 

They don't have a lot of selection, maybe 10 patterns or so, but double sided increases that I guess, and the roll is so thick it literally last for years. Thickest paper I've ever purchased.

Hobby Lobby also makes very nice heavy wrapping paper with the grids to follow on the back for use as a cutting guide.  I order their wrapping paper online to use for all occasion wrapping such as polka dot which can be used for any occasion.

I will chime in that Costco sells beautiful, heavy duty wrapping paper.  I am a present wrapping fanatic, with each person their "specific" paper.
