Why is my tree stuck in Suffolk, VA (I'm in Cincinnati, OH)? I pre-ordered my flocked tree, and it was supposed to be here on 12/3/201. Why have the talent promise--guarantee-a delivery time only to have it stuck somewhere? Has anyone got their tree? It's 12/4/2021 and I fear Christmas is going to be here before the tree comes!!! UUUGGGHHH!!!

Sorry to hear that your tree hasn't arrived.  I agree with you that they should not guarantee a delivery date.  I never order anything from QVC that I need within a certain timeframe.  The last few months I haven't ordered anything at all because of the things I've read about the wrong and/or damaged product being delivered.

@Tadaki    You've been around long enough to know QVC does not guarantee delivery any time except the few days before Christmas when they offer a special incentive.  Delivery dates are always an EDD, estimated date of delivery.  Common sense dictates QVC having no control over the operations of shippers.

@Kachina624 First, I KNOW delivery dates are ESTIMATES. I ORDERED the tree in NOVEMBER!!! Second, 3 weeks til Christmas? I wanted to decorate after Thanksgiving. So that way I could enjoy the decorations longer. And third, if it is UPS and we have to wait because of COVID-19 then why has it taken closer to a month now for it to be delivered?

@puddin6734    You said the tree was due 12/3.  You haven't waited a month.  Once you get and decorate it, you can enjoy it as long as you wish.

Why don't you call and rant at UPS?

Even under the best of circumstances, which we've not had for nearly two years and quite honestly it seems like we might never see again, it's iffy to order anything for the holiday season later than October, if even that late. Unless there's tracking indicating imminent arrival, were it me, I'd go out and find a tree locally. I do understand wanting to have the tree of one's choice up and done and no one wants to be putting a tree up late in the game. The reality is that at this point the tree is only a day 'late' and we've been hearing about both supply chain and delivery issues now for months.

This is why I have ordered nothing from QVC when under "Estimated" dates that started in July. I know this doesn't help your situation and it certainly doesn't help your disappointment. I would be equally sad. If it were me, I'd go to a storefront and get a new beautiful tree and refuse the shipment from QVC. It's just what I would do.

Re: Are you serious QVC?

@Kachina624 I ordered the tree on NOVEMBER 4th and it is now DECEMBER 5th: how is that NOT a month?  The order date and estimated delivery date are two separate issues. Common sense? I'm an RN (ICU nurse) I'm objective, considerate, and loyal...and I have A LOT of common sense!!! So common sense also tells me that QVC as a company should PARTNER with a company with a FOCUS on CUSTOMER SERVICE or the CUSTOMERS they do have WILL NOT stick with them. I have NEVER had this type of problem with QVC...NEVER. I ordered the tree from QVC NOT UPS and QVC should have a COMMITMENT to ensure satisfaction through the shipping/delivery process. That is why the PARTNERSHIP is so important.

@THETOT Just a suggestion...when responding to a particular poster, if you use the @ and then chose their name from the dropdown list, they (and everyone else) will know exactly who you are talking to.

If there are posts between yours and the poster to whom you are responding, it's a bit confusing.

Even in the best of times, QVC isn't exactly known for their fast shipping. Slowest shipper ever.
