We are having our dear friends for dinner this Sunday and then going to their home the following Sunday. I looked in my archives for Fall tablescapes and have chosen this one to recreate.

So looking forward to it. The apples dishes are actually from QVC.....many years ago.

Love them.

Re: Apple Tablescape for Fall

@Regal Bee - I remember that Temp-tations apple baker set! That will be very lovely. I have a bunch of green apple ceramic pieces . . . perhaps I should work them in with my zillions of pumpkins for some variety. Smiley Happy

@loriqvc  So that is where they came from.....I have been racking my brains to figure that out but I do love them so.

@Regal Bee - I believe it was called the "Fresh Crop" set; there was also a pumpkin version, if memory serves.

Just perfect! I have pumpkin soup bowls (in two colors), acorn bowls and pomegranate bowls. Now I want apples!

@Regal Bee - Back in the day, I loved Temp-tations. I really dislike the Old World pattern and all the florals that are around nowadays, so I watch for new pieces less and less. The Figural Fruit pattern that was introduced last year was lovely; I was very happy to hear that there will be more of that next year. TT could sell so much more if they would improve the quality of their materials and painting and especially if they would bring more modern and/or neutral patterns. (And I realize that the Figural Fruit I just mentioned negates that last part a bit.)

@froggy  I have been having trouble getting into the Fall mode but this upcoming dinner has recharged me. Use your bowls to celebrate..........!

@loriqvc  I can totally relate to your comment. None of the offerings have tempted me in the last several years. The Old World patterns simply do not speak to me. I wish they would return the days of the figurals.
