@Kitty Galore- I was trying to think of something that would be different. Nothing really came to mind. How about you?

I do like silhouettes, as in a white background and then the silhouette in black. Like a Victorian / Dickens scene print.

I wouldn't mind a lantern that is on a pedestal. Last year Home Reflections had one that sold out so fast. I was hoping to see it back this CIJ but nope.

If the TSV isn't something I would want, I am totally fine with that too!

@Sakuya   I like your idea of silhouettes!   I never saw the lantern by home reflections,  sounds like something I would like .

So many fun stores are gone. It isn't the same. Less and less choices.

@Sakuya We had a store years ago that was a Christmas store and they were open all year long. I would go there in the summer with my mother and get in the spirit. That store is no longer here unfortunately.

@Estellee   My husband is from Augusta GA. There was a year round Christmas store in downtown Augusta called Fat Man's Forest. Every time we would visit his parents I would go to this store. It's been closed for years. I still have ornaments that I purchased probably 40 years ago. It's stores like this that I miss.

@50Mickey That store sounded really nice. I wish there were more of them around.

@Kitty Galore - Your Kirkland's closed? The chain is still around. Their fall selection this year is pretty good if you have one close enough to drive to.

At Home has more Christmas out than the last time I was there. Also saw a handful of Christmas items at Home Goods today. They were busy as well as Hobby Lobby. This time of year I check in with stores often to see what is new.

I am going to attempt to make some Halloween cones so picked up some paper. We will see if I actually do it.

I am going to guess a food item is TSV on Sunday.

Re: All Christmas-Sept 21 and 22

@Sakuya  and @Kitty Galore  Our Kirkland's is still very much alive and kicking. DH and I were at HL this morning, and there were oodles of fall and Christmas items. The fall items were 40% off, and the Christmas items (with exceptions) were $50% off. I got great bargains in both categories! Yippee! My Kirkland's is only about 4 miles away, but HL is 25 minutes away. So I don't get there very often.

Both our Kirkland stores closed some time back. The closest At Home store is about 15 miles away in heavy traffic. I would love to go there though.
