I ordered a Valerie gingerbread church in June during Christmas in July. Originally it was to ship out mid August and I received an email about it being delayed. However, I've heard nothing else and when I click on "edit order" every day the shipping date increases another day. On Friday it said 9/13, now it says 9/15, and keeps increasing daily. I am just worried that it will be cancelled. Anyone else in a similar situation?

I've got three advace orders in the same boat. Two were supposed to ship the end of July but the dates just keep moving out.
I hope they don't cancel, I have my heart set on my new vignette. But at this rate, I'm beginning to wonder too.

In her most recent shows on QVC, Valerie apologized more than once for the slow shipping of items and the disappointments of showing sneak peeks or even full presentations and not having items available for immediate processing. Many international retailers are experiencing significant delays with overseas shipments. Hopefully your items will come soon!

I don't mind if there is a delay as I don't start decorating anyway until November. But my concern is that I've had past orders do the same thing where the ship date keeps being moved out and then eventually the item is cancelled. For some items they will then come back in stock for shipping.

I feel the same way, not confident when advance orders will ship or if ultimately cancelled. I'm ok waiting for Christmas items but not comfortable ordering some of Val's October Advance ship date items as they may arrive past the season in December.

I've noticed the changing dates, too. I've already cancelled some items because they would arrive too late for me to use this year. I'll be disappointed if all are cancelled, but I understand that shipping from China is really beyond the control of QVC. I'm sure they are just as unhappy as we are about the delays.

Same - I have a set of VPH pillars that were supposed to ship the week of 8/23. Received an automated phone call advising of delay. Called customer service a few days ago and they have no firm date or ship week. Also, the item is now sold out so I don't even know if it exists in inventory to be shipped out. If it gets cancelled, I'll live, but it is very disappointing to say the least.
Edited to change date. Items were supposed to ship the week of August 23rd, not September 23rd.

I ordered 3 of Valerie's twinkling frosted pine trees at the end of June during the CIJ..
They were to be delivered the end of August...now it's ETA Sept 15th.
I did cancel some things but I am going to hang on for the few that I really want.
I wonder what the ship dates will be for her shows coming up this weekend..

I am fine with waiting but my main concern is that my gingerbread church doesn't get cancelled only to then come back in stock later for shipping. This has happened too many times on things I have ordered. I think QVC's computer system is programmed to cancel items that have been waiting the longest only to fulfill later orders.
One thing I did do on some previous items was upgrade my shipping to "premium". This worked on items that others got cancelled but mine was shipped.

So I did something interesting. I went in and changed my order from "standard" shipping to "express" and my order now shows "In Process".
I switched it to "premium" and it also shows "In process". When I switched it back to "standard" it just shows "Advance order".
So I wonder, do they have inventory that now is prioritized for those who upgrade shipping? Are those items purchased with "standard" shipping now put to the back of the line? (or even cancelled?)
