? About #H206400

[ Edited ]

I am wondering if any of you have H206400, Kringle Express Illuminated Porcelain Birdhouse? I have previously purchased their porcelain sleigh, Santa, snowman, and reindeer and just love them and had no problems with them.

I just received both bird houses and unlit, they look perfect.  When I lit them in the dark, I don't know how to describe it, except to say they look dirty, as if they were glittered in a dusty, dirty room and the dirt and dust settled of them while the glue for the glitter was still wet.

If any of you have these, can you tell if they are supposed to look like this when lit? None of my other pieces look like this when lit. Thanks for any feedback you can give me.

@Maltichonmom17  They sound defective to me, so you can return them without having to pay return mailing costs.

@mousiegirl, thanks for the feedback. That was my guess as well. I watched the video again and they dont look anything like mine when lit.

I was really looking forward to these, but they will have to go back. I can't get past the dirty look. It's frustrating.

@Maltichonmom17 I have both of these birdhouses, and mine look the same as yours.  The only reason I kept them is because I display them up high above eye level, and you can't really see the roofs of them.

@Maltichonmom17  I also have both of the birdhouses.  I use mine on a shelf in a grouping with other white porcelain pieces so you don't see the roofs.  They are very unattractive to look at if the roof shows. If I decide to use them in a lower setting, I won't light them.  They weren't very well thought out by the designer.

@TenderMercies @lucymo, thanks for the feedback. They do definitely look better unlit or  displayed where you can't see the top. My intention was to display them below eye level, so Idk. I may mull it over for a few days and then decide if I can live with it. I'm kind of  peeved since they looked nothing like that in the video of the presentation.
