38 Weeks till Christmas!!??

I haven't looked at the calendar and counted for sure, but was on a Vintage Christmas Facebook page today and they posted it is only 38 weeks till Christmas.

For those that get disturbed about that, there are folks that need to plan financially for all they wish to accomplish for the season. If you get paid once a month, there are only 8 more checks, or if you get paid every two weeks, only about 20 more paychecks!

Then there are just those of us that love the season all year long!

How many weeks till CIJ? Too many, that's how many!

Agree, @Mominohio. I love the season and for those of us who do plan, we can enjoy much more of the spirit than those who wait til last minute and then complain that they have to "buy" for this many people. If that is how you think of my gift, I prefer not to receive one from you.

Christmas to me is more of a feeling and the joy of family, friends, blessings etc, NOT the gifts you have to "buy"

Can't wait for CIJ either!!!

Oh so very kind of you! But we have snow coming tonight. They say a couple of inches! I don't expect it to be here long, as it will be 50+ in a day or two!

I will give it more thought over the next few weeks after knee replacement. I expect to spend some painful nights in my husbands big recliner near my lighted "therapy" Christmas tree, and will keep my mind busy figuring out my 2017 holiday shopping plan.

Oh, stop it! Just stop it! LOL I hate rushing through life. Having said that, I was in the Dollar Store the other day and I bought some $1 glass vases and a couple of huge plastic bowls that look like cut crystal. I plan to do something interesting with them....for Christmas.
