I wore one in Laughlin last time we went.  Set phone on vibrate and jumped out of my skin when DH called to see where I was. Scared me.  Sometimes I use it for the mall.  It is denim, to go with my jeans.--------tedEbear

I have had a negative response over the years to fanny packs/belt bags mainly because they look so masculine and bulky. Who needs that extra bulk? But there are times in my lifestyle that i really need a belt bag. I have been looking for something a little more sleek and feminine and found it with the new Vera Bradley (new this year) belt bags. I need one for my walking so I can carry my phone, keys and lipbalm.  I recently volunteered at a huge festival in my community and I really needed to wear a bell bag for my duties. . I had to borrow my husbands fanny pack - so big and bulky.  After that I made it a point to order something that will be more stylist and sleeker.  I won't use this VB bag alot but for the walking and going to casinos, festivals, volunteering duties and similar venues, I can't think of a better way to protect my essentials than a stylish belt bag.
