Re: Your thoughts on Vera Bradley

No more. Sold all mine at consignment shop but 2 totes which I still use in summer to go to my friend's pool.  Her new items are junk compared to the old.  Cheap fabric and linings are not like the original.

@Enufstuff    I do have a turquoise zip zip but my favorite is an Amy Kestenberg, soft, unstructured, with great organization and silver hardware.  It's my all-time favorite bag and the  one I dig out seasonally.

Re: Your thoughts on Vera Bradley

@Sooner ... Thanks for the idea to store clothing, etc. in the tote bags then put them on the top shelves of my 3 bedroom closets! I don't travel anymore and when l moved l did think to myself what am l going to do with all my beautiful Vera tote bags?? They were still like new and l have several very pretty prints!

l also have a LOT of purses, etc., etc. There is a gift shop in the city where l previously lived... Bought way too many but what are you going to do? Everyone was buying them back then! I still love all the patterns l bought so they're staying with me! 😊

Re: Your thoughts on Vera Bradley

@beach-mom ... I have both of the breast cancer patterns. I especially love the pretty print one with pink ribbons on it. October of that year this pattern came out and l absolutely loved it and bought many items! Sitting right next to me is the check book in that pattern so I'm still using it! Still looks new! Purchased a LOT of things in that pattern actually! Have so many patterns but my favorite has always been my pink ribbons bags and accessories! 😊

Re: Your thoughts on Vera Bradley

@EastCoastGal - I've bought all of mine on sale, or they have been gifts. A lot of the accessories, including my checkbook cover, came from a gift shop near us that closed probably 10 years ago.

When I bought my duffel I didn't know the pink and white elephants were the breast cancer awareness pattern. I was happy to find that out. My MIL died from that shortly after DH and I were married. I didn't know his family before, and I had only a few years with her. We contribute In other ways, but when I take my duffel out I remember her.

@1Professor @I used to carry a bag with your number 6's print. The bag went with all my solids. I loved the black background.

@fbm8282lsm

The Cuban Tile pattern is one of my favorites.

I also like to have the matching pieces and accessories.

I only have one of the duffle bags.

The most recent bags, totes and accessories are in

Daisy Dot Paisley, which is now discontinued also.I like

the totes for airline travel, since they are so lightweight.

Standing in lines and shopping, they don't hurt

my back or shoulders. On a plane, they hold everything

you might need and fit under the seat.

They are great for car trips too. That was a nice gift from co workers. Enjoy all your Vera bags.

My leather bags are all Dooney & Bourke and one

Coach. Brahmin bags are so pretty and I was tempted by a

purple one and a turquoise one. But, being retired and having

way too many bags. I resisted the temptation.

@1Professor I have a few older Vera bags but my favorite has been that black & white floral.  I have a few things in that fabric.

What do you think of this brand's bags and accessories? Do you own any? Would you?

No, I do not own any...the patterns are way too busy for me.
