ladies its not as hard as youre making it. Its just a phonetic spelling of equip. Say it slowly out loud just like we did in first grade. 

IH= ihh

KWIP= quip

and yes I agree its a dumb name. No doubt trying to distinguish the brand from competitors

'you are "ihqwip ed"' - equipped for your day. 

i take the name with a grain of salt.  a name would not stop from purchasing if i like the brand.  and this brand i do like! 

i do wish they would change the labeling on the products.  that square sometimes takes away from the overall look of the bag. 

i will say they have great customer service when i dealt with them about a year ago. 

happy for them!
