Re: My favorite handbag died and was buried today (in the trash can)

I am about to send my most recent one to the Good Will or trash can because it is so small, I keep getting my hand stuck in it when I reach in to get a credit card or my keys or lipstick.

I carry a very few items with me when I go somewhere, so I bought a small Coach bag online at their "outlet" section!  But when I reach in and then cannot get my hand out, it is time to move on to a bigger bag!

On late Saturday, I found a bag online - same color, similar "fabric" and shape but slightly smaller size, no buckles or the type of zipper pulls that will catch on my knits.  It arrived this morning.

Stone Mountain Smokey Irene Hobo Bag

================================

It was faux leather - British tan - inexpensive - about $40 from Filene's Basement about 15 years ago.  Big black hole style bag.

Where the straps were attached to the bag - it was tearing.

I'll be spending the next couple of days going through the closet to select a "new favorite."
