I had one yrs. ago and it was too slouchy couldn't get it to sit up when I'm checking out at a store.
Embarrassing , threw it to Goodwill or gave it to somebody .
Can't believe people who keep bags for yrs.
Unheard of.

I had a few of those bags and got rid of them years ago. I also had a few Bruce Markowsky bags as well which were made a bit better.
Both brands used to be on all the time!

@tansy , @be me now, @Ainhisg , and @happilyretiredgirl - Thanks for all of your suggestions! I never thought about changing the strap! I'll try to take a picture in a few days and post it so you can see. ![]()

I loved their bags and had several of the crossbodys. Then I moved to Stone Mountain because they were even smaller. I still have several of those because of the various sizes and leather shades. Then SM's quality started to suffer and the styles repetitious and I moved on to Hobo (they seemed to have dropped the International from their name.)
When you find purses you like it's not always easy to part with them.

I went to get it today, and the strap has literally disintegrated since last year. It's cracked and torn. I'm so disappointed. I think I'm just going to have to throw it out. I wouldn't donate it.
It is well carried and well loved, but the rest of the bag still looks pretty good.
Can anyone comment? Did you like these bags too?
YES ..... and in the beginning they were ALL LEATHER. Had a few and loved that they were all leather and reasonably priced. I still keep one to carry when I go on a trip because it's very secure and almost weightless. I'll keep it forever.
Unfortunately, the Tig company was bought by a Japanese firm and suddenly about 30% of the bags and trim was PLASTIC.
I bought one at Macys and when I realized it wasn't all leather I took it back ..... and even asked if it was possible it was a counterfeit! (I thought maybe I should contact Tignanello and let them know!)
Noooooo ...... the nice lady said ..... and they'd had several returns. Not long after, the company went under.
What a shame

The Tignanello bags wore like iron. They had great organization and were well made for a decent price. I had one that I carried for years - loved that bag!!!
You might want to try mautto dot com. They make replacement straps and have loads of choices. I personally have never ordered from them, but their straps look very nice and they have lots of options. I can't remember where I heard about them. It might have been on this forum but it would have been quite awhile ago.

@Marciirene. I believe that's what I said.

Liked Tignanello a lot. The bad thing is the body of the bag was leather and the handle was not.
I will no longer buy an all leather handbag if it has a "pleather" handle.
Had a Tignanello clutch type wallet that was my fav of all time. Does anyone know if they're sold anymore? Would love to buy another.

I have several that I got in TJ Maxx, still in perfect shape. Also, still use my Stone Mountain bags, wear like iron. Just got a brand new SM on ebay.
