Re: Taupe, grey, and elephant?

@ValuSkrwrote:

Is "elephant" embossed so it looks like elephant hide?

@QuinnPennyHave you tried Smoke? It's a pretty grey which works (for me) in all seasons. I only buy the pebbled leather from D&B; not fond of the textured leathers, which look and feel cheap to me. Years ago, I purchased all my D&B bags from QVC.  Check out D&B website for some great sales (especially during December) . . . just sign up for their emails. Always free shipping. I've never returned anything so don't know about customer service, but they are quick to ship and offer lots of colors and styles! Good luck finding the right purse. Smiley Happy

Re: Taupe, grey, and elephant?

Depending on the bag, elephant's not bad. Depending on the bag, it can range from grey to taupe to an almost violet hued neutral. I'd definitely check out other resources, including I Love Dooney, for far better pricing than you'll probably ever see here. This is pretty much my last resort for handbags because the pricing isn't competitive and neither is the shipping.
