Do u think nice handbags look best with 1 or 2 tassels (one on each side)? I've seen both....please note: I'm not asking if you like them or not....for those of us who like them (on the right bag), do you think 1 or 2 looks best?

Definitely one.  Tassles, like other decorative doodads, can easily be over-done.

I am seriously opposed to anything hanging on handbags, no matter how nice they look. 

It's too easy to have your knits ruined when snagged on something (zipper pull, buckle, tassle) on the outside of a bag.

I prefer none, but if you're going for it, one should do.  Two is overkill, IMO.

If I had to choose between the two I would definitely say ONE SIDE only.

Tassles add to the bulk of the bag.I prefer none at all.

Since hobo style bags are my favorite, I like one tassel, preferably on the zipper on top to give me something to grab onto.

It depends on the style of the bag.  I have several bags with tassels just one.

I think one looks nice.  When there is two identical items on the sides of a center item, one cancels out the other.  "One" creates more interest.
