I think it's cool, the article said it had an LV vibe and I can see that. Sold on the Disney site. I would never pay full price for it. Would like to see it in person, but it's only sold in the parks and online.

My first impression of the photo was LV as well.  I just went to the Disney site to get a better look at each and they are really nice.  Not overly priced either.  Certainly would be something no one else would be carrying in my mid size Texas city, at least for awhile.

Yuck to the Star Wars design, but I love the trim, handles and hardware.

I'm not really a fan of Star Wars, but I'd like the satchel... I don't like it three hundred dollars worth, but I like the look and design of the bag. It pays homage to the films but without looking cartoonish. It maintains a certain level of sophistication.

 I agree that it has an LV vibe and it doesn't look like a cartoon!!  That's really the way to go!!  I like the look, but wouldn't buy it..... (because it's a movie-related item)...

I can see where they would get the "LV vibe?" The arrangement of the pattern and the hint of a fleur-de-lis. I love Star Wars,LV and Dooney. But I wouldn't want a Star Wars tehme on my bag. I don't know if it's an "age-appropriate" thing or not.  I also wouldn't carry a Mickey Mouse purse. Maybe if I were five? (I would wear a Star Wars or Mickey watch for a touch of whimsy, but that's about it.

It  might look better IRL, I don't know. What I do know is that there is something out there for everyone.
