@Serendipity:  Thanks for your reply. (My avatar looks like l did when l was younger, lol)... Your advice is good-- l was thinking of keeping the tote, and selling this one. But l don't have any other crossbodies, and l may decide one day that my big bags are too heavy! I guess it will depend on how much it could sell for. I can't even imagine what a new one like this would cost now, if they still made this style! Probably close to $1,000.

What do you think of this bracelet? I like it. Doesn't read southwestern to me, you? I know you are not a cuff fan, but that aside?

@Boehm Collector  Enjoy Manhattan!!! I just love it here! Being able to go to all the designer stores. The store on 5th avenue is where I bought two of my LV bags for one of my birthdays and it was an amazing experience.

@Serendipity  I ordered a citrine Or Paz ring on 10/2 and it finally shipped yesterday. The warehouse move is really delaying shipments. As long the status doesn't change to backorder I'm ok with it.

Regarding jewelry shipping, I don't think I will notice a difference here in Chicagoland. It seems like when something comes via the USPS (like the jewelry usually does), it takes a good 7-10 days, just like they say. Oh well!

Ladies, the search for the perfect green bag for me is over!!!!!!  It's a keeper!! It's everything I hoped it would be!!! 

First of all, the color is perfect! Exactly, the deep green that I was hoping for. Second, the bag is a nice size. Many reviews stated the bag was much smaller than the measurements given. The base plate is less than 11" but the bag itself gets wider as it goes up, like many bags do. This is fine for me. I have many bags like this and I have no problem with it. The bag is not too big or small, a perfect medium size.

Third, the bag is so light!!!! I love it. I'm over really heavy bags.  Fourth, the bag keeps its shape due to the sturdier leather and the reinforced base plate; it stands on its own even when empty but still sags at the top like a hobo should. Fifth, I just love all the outside pockets. My hand fits it all of them. Plus, there are three zippered and two slip pockets on the inside.

Lastly, the bag doesn't look as stylized as it looks online. The quilting definitely is more subtle in person as well as all the hardware. The AK TSV bag has way more going on IMO. I'm not really a one strap bag person but I find I can reach things easily and the strap doesn't slip off my shoulder even when empty. 

This is my Christmas gift to myself and I am so pleased that I know I won't want a new bag for a while. It's no nice when a bag is exactly what you've been hoping for. I'm so happy!!!!!!

Hi @NycVixen .. glad you love your new bag!  It's always fun to find a bag you really love!  Enjoy!  Will you be waiting until Christmas to use it?  My DH bought a Dooney Clayton for me back in July .. but it is a Christmas present and he hid it on me so I definitely will not be able to use it until Christmas

@Boehm Collector  No, I'm going to start using it right away!! Last year, I wasn't in the US for Fall so I'm making up for lost time. I can't belive how much I love this bag. It's even making me question my AK TSV purchase. I don't love that bag as much to be honest. Plus, the most recent reviews state that a few have had the strap break on them. I haven't used the bag yet and since I received it on 9/25, I have till 1/31 to return it. We'll see!!!!! Interesting turn of events!! LOL

@handygal2 I'll say! I have three bags, and counting, for charity. Dibs on that LV crossbody. LOL.  That's a steep fee; I've never consigned anything. Sold two bags two Christmases ago, but it was a fluke; sold to a friend of a friend. Got 25% the original bag price and they were never used. Better just not to buy them or use them!

@NycVixen Thanks, Vix. That's good to know. I thought maybe the order had gotten lost. Now I won't call CS. Here's hoping it ships soon. BTW, did you see the Trina in the evergreen? Oh my! Also, just love citrine. Hope it's as good as your new bag!
