Re: Satchel Santas, Ho-Ho-Hobos and Other Indulgences Y'all... 4Q-2015

Good night to you too, sister.  And you know, pathetic as it is, I think I'm going to just turn in and read for a while. At least that's my plan.

@Sister Golden Hair  This is true; 8 years come March in the making. Year one, he completely embarrased me at Wilson's Leather when I went to exchange a leather jacket. He wanted me to return it and made a scene.

Fast forward to 2012, when he bought me an LV bag for Christmas the year we were married. Bought me a Hearts on Fire halo diamond necklace on our honeymoon cruise in St. Martin as my early 1st wedding anniversary present in 2012 as well.

He has come a long way and he was definitely trained. And it worked! Woman LOL Woman Tongue Woman Wink

Vixen, sounds very well trainedHeart

My husband doesn't buy me presents nor do I buy him anything.

He has his tools and I have my bags, shoes, clothes, make-up etc

If there is something we want, we just buy it.

We do like to do road trips.

I forgot to mention that after we went to the craft show we went to a garage sale and I bought 2 bags.

EA logo bag that looks like A7870 for $1.00.

The other was a bronze leather but I can't remember the name and they are still in the blazer.

May take them to the Magic shop, not sure.

Forgot to mention that did ya, Sister... @Sister Golden Hair

Goodnight Vixen

My husband is still watching "Saturday Night Live" so I will stay in here (bedroom) till it is over.

Not much of a fan of that show.

sky, my sister-in-law went to another town to buy some KFC and went to two consignment shops.

That is where I found the vintage "D&B" navy leather satchel for $20.00.

These bags I bought at a garage sale today. $1.00 each

I take things to my favorite Magic shop. The number 1 shop.

The other shop is too far away to go very often.

Where's Edith? She likes EA too.

No idea. @Sister Golden Hair... I suspect she'll surface sooner or later. If not tonight then tomorrow. Maybe she had plans for the evening. Then again, maybe she's in the kitchen baking and doing penance...

@stevieb and @Sister Golden Hair You two were so kind to think of me last night! Woman Happy Mr. Lily and I were way out northwest attending my niece's choir concert and then my nephew's choir concert three hours later with dinner with everyone between the two absolutely charming events! The patriotic songs made me teary-eyed, as well as the song 'Seasons of Love' from RENT, which I saw on Broadway in NYC when I lived in NJ. Heart

I forgot to mention the man came on Thursday to start putting in the kitchen cabinets.

I love the black countertop.

My husband said that we could leave the kitchen upstairs too and we would have two kitchens instead of a walk-in closet for me.

NOT!!

I will be sending him to the island!!

Has that man lost his mine @Sister Golden Hair. You better talk some sense into him... Two kitchens and the man can't even make a freakin' peanut butter and jelly sandwich...

Woman LOL  I know, Right!

He said this could be a two-family homeWoman Surprised

I might be building him an outhouseWoman Wink

@Sister Golden Hair... Tell him, yea, it could be a two family home... and neither of them will include him if he doesn't get his, uh, butt... in gear.

stevie, you are so right, the other night he wanted me to come and make him some cinnamon toast.

Then there you go. That's your answer. You aren't cooking a thing until he comes to his senses... No PBJ, no cinnamon toast, nothing...

You are a hoot!

Woman Wink

Sister @Sister Golden Hair, you gotta train that man!!

Woman Very Happy

LOL. But, in all seriousness @Sister Golden Hair, ask Mr. Sister if he wants to pay higher property taxes for a mother-daughter/two-family house. That's what would happen-- at least where l live-- when the county gets wind of the two kitchens!
