@EdithEllenLily Did you see the new BB pieces? There's a 36-inch version of the textured link necklace. Wow. There's a BB show upcoming too in October. Didn't note the date, but I'm sure I will soon look it up and commit it to memory. LOL.

Uh, excuse me @Serendipity but weren't you just last week noting you were going to behave for a while and, you know, try to avoid out house status... ? I think you were... Must've had a little memory lapse there and perhaps you should have another one with respect to that upcoming date...

I'm just assuming that once a person gets WAY too many lovely handbags, said person would feel suddenly compelled to send some of them off to said person's handbag-loving-buddies.

@1Professor @stevieb

I swear, if I bite it, I'm going to have Mr. Lily come in here and tell you the bummy news, and I will have a list of which handbag should be sent to which handbag friend. Of course he will have to write the Q and figure out just how to do this if we are still anonymous. It does appear at some point we may be able to share emails. Woman Happy I do hope we could have a 'common ground handbag meeting' at some point if we are able to and would like to do it. Pick a city and a hotel and meet and shop. Wow, would that be an absolute blast!!! Woman Very Happy

As for that $29 bag @stevieb, to quote the honorable one: uh-huh-uh-huh-uh-huh.

Perhaps not snow @Serendipity, but yes, defintely rain... That said, inexpensive pleather and nylon bags work just fine. No need for pricey, high end rain bags... Just thought I'd point that out for you...

@EdithEllenLily @stevieb We get so little rain here, I've never really thought about it. I'm trying to remember what I do use when it rains. The Roma most recently I guess. This is going to be a big rain year though with El Nino. Maybe my MZ Wallace bag is water resistant. @foo foo shi shi do you use yours in the rain?

@EdithEllenLily @stevieb @Boehm Collector  Thanks for the warm welcome!!!!  It will take a huge amount of willpower to end the year without a new bag. The AK Sangria bag keeps whispering to me to bring home her sister in the gunmetal once it becomes available again.. LOL or maybe the gold distressed.

I absolutely love leather having worked with it for so many years. There is nothing compared to the feeling of unwrapping a new bag. There is an economic term called utility and it refers to the satisfaction gained from something. For me, the utility I get from buying and using a handbag is incomparable. Every time you carry the bag it's like a love story LOL. It's not just a purchase but an experience.

Ah Vix... @NycVixen... I remember the days of feeling that way... But I guess I've become desensitized... That's the problem with volume over time. Tthe new handbag high isn't as significant as it once was... Every once in a blue moon I still get that gushy feeling over a new bag, but not so much anymore...

@stevieb What is the last bag that gave you that feeling?

Like most of you, I'll admit that l have more than enough handbags. So lately, I'll buy a handbag, admire it for a while, realize l don't need it, and then return it. This is a pattern l keep repeating. Does anyone else do this? Do l need an intervention??

And all of you who say you're done buying handbags for a very long time, hahaha. I'll bet you're not!!

Hi@handygal2! I bet you're right. Hmn....wanna bet a handbag on it? LOL. Smiley LOL

LOL. That would be a fool's bet for me!.. Actually, we should run a handbag exchange here. When anyone gets tired of a particular bag (which most of us are prone to do), we can trade for another bag of equal value. Think of how much $$ we'd all save! But, alas, the details of this enterprise would be too difficult to work out.

@handygal2 LOL. Well, we could probably do very well with that! I often wish there was somewhere in the local neighborhood for this, but I only find handbag obsessed pals here. Or ... maybe they're just hiding online. Smiley LOL

Yes @Serendipity, intellectually you know... The problem is, you're losing control. Again. Come on girl, think about it. Do you want to end up like EEL @EdithEllenLily ? With a freakin' moving van parked outside your house... Baking endless cakes to keep your husband from walking out the door and not looking back...? Think long and hard before you commit that date to memory... You can do this Serendipity... That out house looms...

@Serendipity @stevieb LOL.. handbag siblings is the best type of siblings there are!

I have to say I love how far my husband come come in the last 3 years of marriage. When we met years ago he used to pay such close attention to everything I bought and be judgmental but now he just pretends so well that he doesn't notice. LOL. It's epic! He's so natural about it. He even compliments my purchases now!! That's love!!!
