SMith Bag ODO, only 1 lb 7 oz

I have a nylon smith from several years ago and it is heavier.  Anyone know if they cut the size down?  On my tv it does look narrower.

Hmmm... about $300, with shipping and tax. They knocked about fifty bucks off the retail price and that's supposed to be a big deal. All for a nylon bag trimmed in leather. Each to their own...
