I think you may be surprised with how often you carry your red handbag.  About 1-1/2 years ago I bought a red Brahmin and have never looked back.  I could honestly get ride of all other purses in my wardrobe.  I wear it every day.

I am so glad I bought the red purse.  I've carried it just a few days and I have gotten many compliments on it already.

I treated myself to a small red Brighton bag for my birthday last year.  I had a gift card but it was still more than I usually spend on a bag.  I wear it with blue, black & grey which makes up a lot of my wardrobe.  I just love it.  If their bags weren't so expensive I would own more of them.

@Pecky. I use mine more in fall/winter when my clothes are mostly black/white/grey and red. It does add that pop of color.

I own this Coach pebble leather turnlock hobo, which l purchased several years ago. I have to admit l haven't used it. Even though l really like it, l tend to stick with neutral bags.

@handygal2  I have that bag in navy and love it.  I really like it in red.

I think I'd get more use out of a raspberry bag than a true red bag.  I have two red bags that I don't use all that much because I don't really care for the color.  I do like red when it sort of borders on pink though.

Hmm.... Perhaps I have a new mission....

I have a cherry red Kate Spade bag. Bought it during a much happier time in my life. So maybe that's why I don't reach for it now. I should try to.

I have one red bag. I carry mine all year long. I carry it with white and navy outfits in warm weather. In colder weather I use it with jeans and black outfits.
