Hi All - I received  the pink cobra - I love the size , shape , hardware and think its a very elegant handbag but I and am very disappointed with the "dull" finish of the leather .  It looks so faded in person -

Can anyone tell me if the other exotic choices have a richer finish to the leather or a sheen? 

I would like to try another one but before ordering would like opinions

@Gsmom  - I don't have the pink cobra, but do have the blue ice and camo in the Verona.  As for the blue ice, the colors (gray, tan, grayish blue, and black) they are muted, the blue is not really noticeable and quite subdued.  The sheen is definately matte, not a patent or shiny finish at all.  I can understand what you mean concerning the finish.  I was wondering about the colors of the pink cobra if they were vibrant or not.  I really do love both of the Veronas that I bought though.  I carry one or the other every day and get lots of compliments.  For me, the size is great too and really like the bag.  I had also bought the camel but returned it because the color was too peach for me.  If it had been a more British Tan, it would have been great.  I'd love to see a real picture of the pink cobra if you could post one.  As for the spoiler tag, the same thing happened to me last night.  I must have clicked it and didn't notice until I posted something.

I sent back the bag this morning or I would have attempted to post a picture 

the pink cobra looks very faded - like it was bleached or left out in the sun for weeks

It has none of the richness of the Roma 2 s exotics

the blue ice you have looks darker and richer when I study the pictures but with the lighting I can't get a true sense .

I wanted to try the Camel but it seems many people sent it back too

I have the camo pouch and love it - I'm glad you are enjoying your camo Verona

maybe I will order a few and see for myself -I did that with the Roma 2s and wound up keeping them all - so I was trying a differen t approach this time !

@Gsmom   Hi, just reading your discussion about the Verona with @IlliniGirl88.

I ended up not purchasing this hobo but I have seen good reviews

for the Camo. The Camel seems to have a peachy undertone.

I can understand what you are saying about the Pink Cobra .

I purchased the Gili leather pouch w/ tassel in the Blue Cobra and

 I was surprised when I received it ! The Blue Cobra is the same as

your description of the pink.The color doesn't look like what you

see online or on tv . I like it in the pouch but not sure about a tote.

I agree with you about the new exotics being very different than

the Roma 2 exotics !

The new Roma 4s will be presented soon and we are all

waiting to get a look ! I wish Jill would post good pics of the bags.

It's been very hard to judge colors during presentations.   

I read on Jill's facebook that the new Roma 4 Camo Is a lighter

color than the Verona Camo !.....Now we need more matching

I love the camo pouch but don't need the handbag because I have a Bmackowski camo bag from a few years ago I still love

@IlliniGirl88 Hi  Since you have the Verona I was wondering if the leather has softened ? Several reviews are saying the bottom and side construction is stiff / hard . Some complained about stiffness in handle

Hi!  I have my camo Verona right here, so it's easy to give you more details.  I don't feel that the handle has anything extra in it to stiffen it, it feels like several pieces of leather sewn together.  If you pick the bag up by the handle, it pulls downward nicely, it molds to the shape a your hand, it doesn't stay fixed in one shape (hope that makes sense).

The sides and bottom construction feels as if something may be there to stiffen it, but I'm not certain.  It could also be several pieces of leather layered together.   It's a 3" wide band of leather that wraps across bottom and about 1/3 the way up on each side.  If I try to squeeze that area, it doesn't give.  It doesn't bother me though, because it gives the bag a "floor" for everything to sit on inside the purse, as opposed to collapsing into the middle.  The contents don't gravitate towards the center.  The front and back of the purse are very soft.  I hope this all makes sense.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes!  I'm definately watching the Roma 4 presentation tonight.  I hope she's on early in the show.  I also bought the camo vest this morning.  That's being shown tonight too, I think in Inspired Style. 

BTW, I was at the orthodontist this morning, and the doctor (a woman) and several of the girls working there were asking about my camo Verona.  Also, I got stopped a lot leaving the restaurant the other night after my bday dinner.  People definately notice the camo.
