The embroidery is lovely!  Enjoy!

@phoenixbrd    I believe it's embossed so the centers of the motifs are raised, then they're painted, not embroidered.

I looked at it closely and yes, you are right.  I still think it is a beautiful detail...I like it better than embroidery!

don't think so, it's cousin was, I believe. The one that buckles. I like easy access. Although, I do have couple that buckle.   Think they call this style hand painted tooled

I bought a Patricia Nash bag 2 yrs ago with the same detail, beautiful and I love it.It's a smaller bag than I usually carry but it's so spring like I bring it out just before spring..  It has the flowers and butterflies on both sides.  Time to get it out again.
