EEL you are absolutely correct!  This bag is lovely & it has a very current upscale vibe. I find I choose it more often than expected.  Also, like that it sits nicely on a table. Like it all year long, to me it’s seasonless.  It is a sharp going out bag, but actually I find it perfect with my frayed black jeans, white tshirt & cute boots, sandals or converse sneakers.

So, MZW C/S has conveyed that the Gramercy and Port Royale AIR (Soho and Paige) sales have been brisk.  I think we need to be realistic that this fabrication is Bedford's future. MZW website has still not changed the description on the Port Royale items to let customers know that this is new Bedford Lite. .

I am probably going to shop Larrimor's or Nordie's for my (few) future purchases.  Free and fast shipping to my UPS store with no $$ minimum and hassle free exchanges. 

Sands Point shop still has the classic black Mia if anyone is interested.  You get 15% off on first purchase.  I have the Mia in Dawn and love it.

@hicindy2 Well, goody for MZ with their sales on the new Bedford Air/Gramercy items. Those items are definitely not for me.

I still prefer the pleated, more luxurious Bedford nylon handbags. Lacquer is pretty in some of the silhouettes. On the whole, I'm not a Crosby fan. I do like the Medium and Large Metro Totes in Oxford.

Yes, HC, we will be toning it down with our orders due to the current options. It's okay. Things change, and sometimes it's for the best.

This is exactly like the Soho tote that I received.  Much duller sheen and more ordinary looking.  Sorry MZW...you've lost a Bedford fan.

@hicindy2 I had that Black Lacquer Small Sutton but I sold it at the consignment shop! I think I would like the Medium Sutton in Black Lacquer that @handygal2 has (I've read where the Lacquer or Metallic straps stay up on your shoulder in the Medium Suttons) OR the Micro Sutton. And of course Lacquer accessories popping out of any handbag look so pretty!!

@hicindy2 Oh, oh, oh...Roxy!!!!!  I'll always love those Roxy bags! I'll bet it's one they found hiding someplace in a back room or warehouse so they put it up. I seriously doubt MZW will make Roxy again, although if they did, that would be simply terrific and astounding!! I just went to youtube and played the melancholy Avalon by Roxy Music...ahhhh...

Well, I am thankful for my MZW Roxy bags -- black mineral, blue camo and flax. Keepers forever!!!
