A strange but not so funny thing happened with the last item I bought from LV. In February,2020, I ordered my first leather bag, loved it. Decided to order the matching wallet a couple of weeks later. My delivery came and back then, you had to sign for the package . I thought to myself that the box felt mighty light but then, it was a wallet.
Excitedly, I ran upstairs, opened the box. There was some paperwork in the box but no wallet although the box had appeared unopened. My heart almost stopped. I called LV who said they had to investigate it. Still in a panic, I called my credit card company to put a stop on the charge. They also said they'd investigate. My Visa put the charge back on saying LV disputed my claim. A lot of stuff ensued but long story short, LV told me that the thief must have happened at the ups site because they have cameras on their LV packers. She said UPS knew how to make packages look unopened until you looked very closely. Anyway, after about two months of back and forth, I got my wallet.

I Googled how LV bags are made and why so expensive. They're very high quality made bags.
I don't own one, but have seen in person and the one's I saw looked expensive. In the thousands of dollars. Doubt I would buy one though.
