Is there a way to soften stiff leather corners of a purse?

I have a Dooney & Burke satchel bag that I got years ago on the Q and I love the look of it. However, the leatheyr corners of the bag feel pointy and stiff and it can be uncomfortable and painful if I bump my arm against it. Is there a way to sotften those corners?

Check out websites for horse supplies - i.e., leather saddles

If the bag is sewn so that the corners are squared, rather than rounded, then it might be difficult to soften those "points". The suggestion to check out Western supplies is good. It honestly sounds like the problem is with the design of the bag though. Good luck!

The corners were probably deliberately made stiff to maintain the structural integrity of the bag.  Tampering with them may well ruin your bag.
