Re: In need of light handbag - not expensive - suggestions, please!

@AngelPuppy1   I agree with everyone else-- a nylon crossbody is the way to go.  You can find a variety of them at TJMAXX for really good prices.  I like  the Travelon classic crossbody bucket bag (you can find them online at EBags and right now my everyday bag is Lily Bloom (because of the fun prints).

Look for travel bags.

Those will be the ones hands-free, light-weight & good organization.

Many good suggestions upthread.

Do you have a Container Store?

They have a nice inventory of nylon hands-free travel bags,

like Travelon & baggallini.

Go to the Baggallini website and click on the International line.  Those are the most fashionable.  They are a very nice quality nylon.  I think they are better looking than Kipling (which I also love, but are sportier IMO.)

Don't know where you live. Our Goodwill has many lovely handbags, some w/tags still on them for around $5-6.00. My experience has taught me not all GW are created equal. But I'm just sayin'.

Vera Bradley has many bags that would work for you.  They weigh almost nothing, last forever and most are machine washable. They have a website where you can find bags on sale.

Adding.  Zulily has them right now at really low prices.  Some around $25.

Baggallini has some nice bags.  The usually have a lot of pockets, including zipped outside ones.  The fabric is very durable.

I would check the clearance /sale section and look for a woven/cloth bag. I think Vera Bradley, Lug and the bag that Holly Love rep brings. (I'm having a block with her name) but it has RFID and is cloth with organization. Check borth HSN and QVC because it seems that the inventory is moving back and forth. Good Luck.
