I have a friend who is the opposite of this - drives a new Lexus - has a gorgeous big home, yacht, they travel extensively and she wears very nice clothes. However, she carries the world's rattest old purse you ever saw. It's a big open tote - reminescent of the Closer Bag. It had seen better days many years ago! She makes fun of my purses and tells me I am wasting my money because no one notices them anyway. I always say - you did. The irony is - I don't even buy really expensive purses.
