I just ordered a D&B in black on wait list.  Think I'll get it?

You'll probably get it. It used to be more or less a sure thing but in more recent years it's more iffy. The question these days when ordering on wait list seems to be if you get one at all, will you get a new one or will you get a return.

You should also put the bag on your wish list (if it's not already there) and check it once or twice a day. I've had items show as available on my wish list while the order status still says wait listed. I then reorder the item and cancel the one on wait list.

I've never done Wish List either.  But I ordered it yesterday with the special 6 payments.  So if it comes in before the WaitList I wouldn't get the easy pay right or same deal?

OK I guess I got it added to Wish List.  Then how do I get to my Wish List to check it? Why would that be different than going directly to the item to check?

Oh I guess my question really is will I get the same deal if it comes in on Waitlist?

You should get the same deal if you placed a Wait List order when the deal was being offered and was still active.

Hmm...I'm not sure if you would get the same price if you ordered from your wish list. I imagine it would depend on the current price of the item. If I didn't like the current price, I would wait for the wait list.

You can get to your wish list by going to your account. I usually stay signed in so it just takes a few clicks to check my wishlist. I find that easier than doing a search for the item.

Putting an item on Wish List is a good way to keep track of items you might purchase in the future and is also a good way to check to see if an item you might want that was out of stock has returned to stock. Merely putting an item on Wish List will NOT however net you the price or deal that was offered for the item when you placed it on your list...

If an item is sold out and you order it on Wait List while the deal being offered is still active then as long as the order is fullfilled you WILL get the deal that was on offer at the time your order was placed... However, once a deal has closed, and when ordering the item as a Wait List purchase, your transaction will be processed using whatever price and/or deal is in place at the time you are placing the order...

To check one's Wish List, at the top of the page, go to the drop down menu for "My Account" and you will see Wish List is one of the options...

Oh no,  I checked the item page and black is now sold out.  Does that mean my Waitlist will be gone?  Or if someone sends one back?  Is it gone for good?  What happens after 45 days on Waitlist?  Can I extend it?

Can I call them and switch to another color?

@Jasmine19 I was just going to post this as well.  That has also happened to me.  Never let c/s take the rein when it comes to something you want to order..  If you see that it's available order it right away and cancel your waitlist order.  I learned the hard way after seeing that something was available but trusting c/s....my order became unavailable as a result.
