  This question has probably came up before, couldn't find a post. I only carry my bags crossbody. I was watching Shawn and Amy K talking about carrying bags crossbody, shoulder or clutch style. I might be in the minority and that's ok but in this day and age I would never carry my handbag as a clutch style even if going out for dinner or dancing. I am afraid someone would grab it and be gone !  What about you ? Thanks

Only shoulder.  You have to have a very long strap to carry cross body and my ideal handle drop measurement is 11 to 13 inches, which is all that I carry.

I wear only crossbody. I carry other things and for a long time I was helping either older parents or young nieces and or nephews and I wanted my hands free to help.

@Goodie2shoes - Shoulder for me, even if the straps are shorter

The only time I've carried a crossbody is if I'm going to a fair, craft show, etc.

I usually carry my bag on my shoulder.  That is why I have to have a comfy wide strap, so it doesn't dig into my shoulder and hurt!  If I am on a fun shopping trip, I might use a small bag and do a cross body.  I never use a clutch.  The only time I ever did this was when I went to a place where I dressed up, which like never happens these days.

For years I only wore crossbody bags. But lately I'm into wearing bigger bags that I sling over my shoulder.
