Crossbody, in the bend of your elbow, underarm, strap in hand ?  I prefer crossbody because I feel my belongings are more safe that way. At the bend of my elbow would be the next choice but I would never carry my bag underarm for fear someone would grab it and run. To me carrying it underarm is providing opportuniy for a crime to happen. Opinions please

Even with a crossbody bag a thief can quickly cut it off with a scissor. It is cut, pull, run.

It would not surprise me if you never heard of it, or even thought about it being done that way.

What is bothersome is when you see women leave their purses in a shopping cart and turn to get a product from a shelf.

Crossbody if it's a crossbody purse.

By the handle if it is a satchel.

I have never and wouldn't ever carry one in the bend of my arm.

No I haven't heard of cutting the strap but I'm not surprised. I would still rather carry my bag crossbody than underarm. I agree with the issue of leaving a bag in a grocery/shopping cart and turning away is very careless!

I carry my bags over my shoulder. That's it.

Over my shoulder suits me best so I have a grip on it.

Usually chain bag, over my shoulder hanging down or

holding it down.

It depends.  When grocery shopping or a day of being out and about when I wish to be hands free, I carry a crossbody.   If i am doing a day trip where I wish to carry a little more - water, snacks etc, I will carry a larger tote over my shoulder.  For evening, a clutch.
