I was watching the A. Kestenberg collection this morning because I like her leathers, and I have to wonder who is willing to pay $14.47 to ship a handbag, especially after three days of free shipping on fashion.  If one decided to return the bag, one is out over $21 (or the price of two cartons of eggs?!).

After careful online shopping, I would pay that S and H charge in lieu of the difficulties involved in brick and mortar shopping although, of course, I would prefer a free S and H day. I have some health issues which make shopping challenging for me and I love the ease of online shopping.

I just bought 2 Pom Pom London bags and it was free 2 day shipping from England. I wouldn't pay $15.00 for shipping from PA or wherever the bags come from.

@Q-Checker I can't remember the last time I bought a handbag in a real store!  I always buy them either at QVC or HSN but on free shipping offers.  I just think the Q would sell more bags if they capped the shipping for them at the $5.50 price that they have for shoes.

Shipping fur handbags has always been high.  It's gone up a bit but it was $11 or $12 a couple of years ago which is why when I did buy handbags, I waited for free shipping days.  Shipping from the major department stores is in the same $ ballpark.

Darn!  I just purchased a clearance Aimee Kestenberg bag A621811.  Yesterday.  Now today they have the Love15 offer for $15 off.  Too late to add that to my order since it is already in process!  LOL this happens to me all the time.  As soon as I order something the next day or two it goes on sale.  

I have this bag in the green color and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  It's one of my favorite bags of all time.  They only have it left in the white and I decided to go ahead and get it yesterday for fear it would sell out.  EVEN with the $14 shipping.  I would never usually pay that but this bag is worth it to me. 

I live chatted with CS and they said the Love 15 is good on clearance so ladies if you see something on clearance you want it should be okay to use the discount. It was just too late for me.

More times than not, if I'm buying from QVC I'm waiting for a free shipping event or some other means to save. This is especially true with bags. Many online retailers not only tend to offer better prices but also less costly shipping. There are exceptions when I bite the bullet, but not many. Their charge to ship a bag is typically egregious.

I ususally go to the website to order as they usually have free shipping.  I wouldn't pay $15 here to ship a bag.

They were selling American Leather yesterday and the shipping was $15.50. Too bad I liked the bag but when I saw the shipping I passed.

I bought a nice American Leather bag a few months ago at TJ Max and it was $63.00.

Love it and of course, no shipping!

I'll check to see if Amazon sells their bags.
