I have my Kindle app linked to my laptop and I have been reading a mystery a day.  British are my favorite.  I have to turn off the TV to stop the barrage.

This is a very pretty pattern... I'd probaby not opt to own one of the bags, but it is a lovely choice. It's a wonderful combination of colors.

@hicindy2  I enjoy a good British mystery too and over the years have read, and sadly forgotten, many good authors. One that comes to mind is Deborah Crombie. Her early books, especially, were wonderful and most of her more recent books are very good, though some of them seem to get a bit bogged down. She's actually not British, but you'd never know it.

and the early ones of this series:  I really like Sergeant Havers bless her heart 

and the Shetland series

and the Mad Max series

@hicindy2  I too enjoyed George's early novels. When she killed off the inspector's wife, I sort of gravitated away. I also really enjoyed most of Jill McGown's books.

@hicindy2  Interestingly, I never cared for George's novels as cast and developed for the BBC... I never thought Lynley looked like Lynley should look and Havers clearly didn't match her description in the books. Casting aside, I also thought the adaptations were often lacking.
