• Can anyone describe what the Dooney color "tan" looks like? Today tan is being offered as a new color selection but no visual is offered. I could not find it on the Dooney site.

Dooney colors look different in different leathers and materials.  What item are you looking at?

Dooney has many shades of 'tan' or natural and they differ from each other very slightly,  depending upon the leather, the collection, or even when the handbag color was first released.   That said,  the recent Dooney tan bags I've gotlten are a  medium  brown color.  They tend to be neutral in the sense that they don't have the red/orange undertones like the russet and caramel colors do.   I'd say tan is a bit lighter than the caramel color,  but without the red/orange undertones.

You can look on Dooney.com or other sites to see if you can get a hint at the color in different leathers. Just remember the lighting used for the photo and your computer will also effect how the color appears.
