Dooney & Bourke Coated Cotton Bags

I have never had one of their coated cotton bags.

They are offering, on their yearly sale, totes made of the material.

If anyone has owned one, do they last or have any issues?

Thanks!

I haven't bought one recently, but the ones from years ago held up beautifully.  I still have a couple, and as usual with D&B, they look like new.

Good bags, as they wear beautifully and are easily wiped clean or dry.

I have quite a few of them.  They have held up beautifully with no issues.  I have been collecting Dooney since the 70's.  I still have and use my first bag.

Just wipe clean and go.

I had an issue with a wallet once....called Dooney CS and they sent me a new one.

Thank you, ladies, for your help.

I picked up one of the totes on sale today in the coated cotton.

The best thing is they are about half the weight of the leather bags.

@FancyPhillyshopper   I agree that coated canvas would be far lighter.

Dooney had some of the weights of the bags listed and some of the leather were 2 to 2.5 lbs. BEFORE anything goes in.

That is far too heavy for me these days.
