I used this program a couple of times.  You can only trade in one bag towards a new bag.  I think there was a minimum amount for the cost of the new bag before you could use the program.  They will give you a trade in For the original cost of your bag but not more than 50% of the new bag.  Those were the conditions when I used the program but not sure if those are still in place.

@faeriemoonI've used the trade-in program many times.  They will give you half the retail value of your used bag toward the purchase of a new (regularly priced) bag of equal  or greater value.   It's a one for one trade and you can do it up to 5 times a year.  You have to select a new bag within 30 days of them receiving your old bag.
