Hi Guys!

I'm looking for advice. Have any of you been to the Dooney and Bourke Outlet store in Las Vegas? I'm going to Vegas next month and would love to visit that store while I am there as I don't have an outlet near me and have never been to one. My question has to do with transportation. I'm used to taking cabs when I'm on the strip going from one hotel/casino to another. There is no shortage of cabs there. If I take a cab to the north outlet, will I have trouble finding one to take back to the strip?

Also, about the outlet merchandise, do they have product exclusive to the outlet stores or can I find the same things I would see at Macy's etc?? I want to know if it's worth the hassle going there as my time there is short as it is.

Thanks in advance!

I've never been to the LV Outlet, but wonder if there is a website for this outlet to get more information. As far as transportation, try contacting the LV Visitors Bureau, I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction. Let's us know what you find at the D&B outlet. I'm a D&B collector and would be interested in your experience. Enjoy your trip!

There is a bus called Westcliff Airport Express that picks up on the street near Excalibur which will take you to the Premium Outlets North.  It then goes on to downtown Vegas.

I have only ridden it to and from the airport.  $2 exact change paid as you get on.

Re the Dooney outlet:  My mother-in-law and I each got a Luna bag there many years ago--still get compliments on it.  Hubs bought a darling turquoise crossbody there for me which I got several months later at Christmas.  I know we got the Luna bags for 75% off.  Suspect the bags are old, discontinued, etc--not a bag afficianato so not sure.

You are wise to bus it--parking's very crowded in the structure.

Good news.   Yes there is a taxie area where they line up to take you back to your hotel.  Ask your taxie driver for exact location.. Mall is large and it is sorta in the middle and I think there are signs...The mall has those big maps that tell you where everything is..The maps are all over...Enjoy your time there...Lots of geat stores there to visit.

I have been a few times to the DB outlets in Woodbury NY,  IMO the selection is pretty good, although it can vary and promos happen all the time .  I would go for it if there isn't one to close to you.

I have actually got 3 bags there, 2 zipzip and a nylon satchel,

I live near Las Vegas and I get to the outlets several times a year.  I love visiting Dooney & Bourke store and have purchased several bags.  There are some great other stores there.  One store carries Philosophy products, OPI polish, as welll as perfume.  Be aware that these are outdoor stores (not like a mall) and it gets extremely hot there.  Best to go when the stores open up early in the morning.

Have you considered Uber? We used Uber to go from one end of the strip to the other. It was only $5. The car arrived in minutes & driver was friendly & car was very clean. This was the first time we ever used Uber & I was very pleased with it.

We go to the outlet mall about once a year but I'm addicted to Lesportsac (they usually have last year's styles).  The funny thing about this outlet is a major majority of the customers are from overseas (always with lots of packages).  We drive (not that far from strip, but otherwise I'd take the shuttle).

Thank you! I'm going to try to get over there during my stay. I imagine I will regret it if I don't.
