Does Anyone here own a Hammitt Handbag?

I saw one early this morning on QVC2 and was very curious, so I googled them, and have been on their site looking around-very unique and gorgeous looking bags....Pricey, but so unique. Just curious if anyone owns one and can say if they are worth the money!

Thanks!!!!

I had one and ended up selling it on eBay. While they are gorgeous leather they don’t hold much. I don’t carry much anyway but I had the VIP medium bag and it looked bulky and was hard to access. The flap that folded over with the zipper could not hold hardly anything because if it did then the flap didn’t fold over as it should and bulged out. I just found the bag to be annoying. HTH.

They do  have various sizes.  Our Dillard's sells them and I have been Jonesing for one ever since a friend bought one and it is sooooo soft and soooo good looking.  Every time I see her carrying that bag, I am hoping she will tell me she does not like it and she wants to give it to me.  Ha ha.  That will never happen.  She loves it.

No. I don't have one and given a five hundred dollar price tag for this bag, I'm not likely to get one... Don't partciuarly want one... At least not this one... Oh, but, as it should, it does ship for free...

Re: Does Anyone here own a Hammitt Handbag?

They are so well made. I discovered them the first time that they were on QVC. I didn't order from them and was sorry based on the positive reviews. Ordered directly from the company and now since April, I have collected 9 of their bags. Love the large Montana and the versatility of the Dillon with the different colored flaps for varied looks. Purchased one from an Ebayer new, but when I got it, the bag looked new with tags, but the strap looked as if it had been dragged across concrete. I contacted Hammitt and they sent me a free Fedex label to return the strap to them and just today, I received what looked like a brand new strap from them. Their customer service is phenomenal. Guarantee if you take the plunge, you will be needing a lifeguard to save you from drowning!!

Forgot to say, they are pricey, but with a lifetime guarantee on each bag from top to bottom, well worth the money. Oh and the leather is so soft and yummy. Also, the hardware is somewhat heavy on the bags that I have, but I love them.

I've never heard of that line of bags. I'm not a big fan of studs on a handbag, I prefer something classic looking that doesn't go out of style. I don't want want to pay 500 dollars for a bag either.

I bought one last winter when they had a big sale with 50% off and absolutely love it! The quality is amazing and the box it came in was lovely. I would wait for a sale.

@C from Bama   Was the sale from the company or a boutique, department store.  I am very interested in purchasing one but right now I have too many things I want/need to pay full price for one.
