I used to love evening clutch bags, particularly if they had a small chain as a strap. I just hated that they had to be carried everywhere, very cumbersome.

@ECBG Being a petite,I could never carry a large clutch bag.

Those pictured are about the size of the brief case

that I carried, when I worked in a chemical and

analytical laboratory, back in the 80's.

For dressy occasions, I always have a small clutch,

to carry. In fact, I just bought from Etsy, a beautiful,

handmade little coral color macrame clutch bag for

a wedding next Saturday. I will be wearing a long

turquoise dress with a topper in a lighter turquoise

with coral floral print, and nude sandals.

@ECBG The clutches you posted are all gorgeous! I love a clitch for when I go out to eat or to a show, somethng like that. Carrying a clutch I think dresses up an outfit. And I don't like having my usual everyday shoulder bag or a tote with me at a dinner table.

@ECBG Do you know where the clutches are from? I really like the leopard print and the navy and beige one. The last one is nice too for summer.

They were google imaged. With leopard accessories having a moment, it shouldn't be hard to find one. Try etsy if fabric is ok.

I am a total cross body and back pack type girl. I have always preferred these bags and will only use a small clutch for dressy nights (not that it occurs much anymore) and it has to have a wristlet strap. I agree with others they are awkward to carry around and yes too much of a risk to lose it.
