I have always loved the large clutch bags with an outfit (impractical for myself at work and it stays in a locker anyway).  I have a beautiful large cream leather bag where across the top and closure are blond wood.

Those are beautiful to me.
As a young woman; I loved them. When we used to go out dancing there was no where to put it when we hit the dance floor. 😝 Some of them had a wristlet, but not all.

We always had a designated watcher; unless there were just 2 of us.

Not so much these days.  Back in the 70’ we either had a wristlet way before crossbodys were back.  I want hands free these days.

They do remind me of nights out dancing but now I'm more likely to carry one out to dinner at the local steakhouse.

I love the look of them, but they're not practical for me.  I know I need a bag that attaches to me, so my hands are free.

I think they are very lovely and classy looking but the fear of someone grabbing them from your arm as you are carrying them is a big deterrent for me.  It only takes a second for a thief to strike.

Love clutch bags but a little smaller than the ones shown.  I do not like shoulder or cross over bags - they are too weighty and cumbersome for me.
