Nice bag, nice and big but very ho hum to me.  I'd probably be very interested in it under $150.

 I don't like the way the zipper pocket was done,

as tho "well the Q customer wants an outside pocket, so let's do one". the designer adds line on the computer design, done!

it looks like an afterthought, it ruins the look of the bag

and yes those unmatched straps are cheapy looking

DB can do much better

Attractive bag, but I don't need a large, heavy bag right now...I'm looking for smaller light weight bags that I can run quick errands in.

QVC's Dooney TSV's are so underwhelming anymore!  Such a shame.  I, for one, use to look forward to them with much anticipation.  Maybe the before the holidays frenzy TSV will be all that ..... but then again - probably not.    Oh well........

I think what we all want is a TSV in one of the luxury leathers, like Florentine, from the regular line (not a made for the Q cheapo), at a price like we might find on I Love Dooney.  And as you said, that's NOT going to happen.  Therefore, all their TSVs are a disappointment.

I took this Dooney TSV to be a clear-it-out Dooney TSV in conjunction with the Clearance Sale on the QVC home page.

There have been NEW Dooney TSVs in the month of August in previous years, so maybe we will see something new coming up next month.

You may be right - would be nice!  I miss the cute pebble leather sets from years past - any more the Q is pushing the Beacon leather.  The last several TSV's have featured this leather - except the spring TSV, which was the nylon tote set.  I did purchase the Q2 Big Deal Dooney recently - the florentine hobo - in natural - it may be too small - won't know till I receive it.  The pandemic has slowed shipping way down.  I know we have lots of other places to shop Dooney, usually at way better prices than the Q.  I just miss the old days of Dooney TSV's I guess.  Like with the hosts - the buyers are probably retiring/job changing and getting replaced with young blood (I'm 57) and think we like the newer, more modern sleek looking Dooney's.

I just saw the "subject to change" list of August TSVs in Q Talk and I did not see a Dooney TSV in August. I did see a Patricia Nash Handbags TSV on Aug. 29. So for Dooney, maybe sometime this fall? Hmmm...
