I may be different than most folks, but the Dooney & Bourke Saffiano Leather is my least favorite of their leathers.  It looks like artificial leather to me.

I like it for summer because it is lightweight and coated (you can easily clean it.)  I'm currently carrying a key lime saffiano satchel (Dooney).

I really would prefer a coated canvas bag because those are really lightweight, but I don't want a print. 

I hate a heavy bag in the summer.

I love it, it's the pebble leather that looks fake to me.

I guess because fake leather often uses the pebble style.

Love Dooneys- hate saffiano.

I haven't bought a Dooney in years. Hate saffino, but I like the pebble leather. Florentine is to big and heavy and nylon gets dirty.

Yes. I like it. 

I like the look, the weight, the texture and the easy care aspect. There's room in my wardrobe for multiple leather finishes, styles and looks. That said, I haven't procured a Dooney bag in several years. The brand went sort of stale for me.

Dooney handbags are beautiful including the Saffiano leather ones but far too heavy for me. I donated all of them and prefer Furla lighter weight bags now...

I haven't tried it in Dooney, but I have an older small Coach purse in Saffiano leather.  Compared to smooth leather, it doesn't appear to show as much wear and tear, and it seems to be lighter in weight.
