The Coach sale is still going on, but with less choices.  I caved and bought a Turnlock Hobo in Rouge, because the price dropped from $350 to $210, and I loved the color of the bag when I saw it in person at a Coach store (and I liked the petal-like shape of the bag, too.)  I have always loved the color pink, but have never purchased a pink bag before, as the shade of pink was either too bubblegummy, or too lavendery, or too bright and fuschia-y.  I cannot even describe this rouge color well.  It is pinky, salmony, browny and red-y.  It is a mature pink, and I think it will go with so many things I wear in black, grey, blue, camel, green, and even purple.  Until this Coach bag color, I never considered pink to be a neutral color, even though it is my favorite color.  Guess I was wrong!

@Jersey Born  Did you get your beautiful bag yet?  I received mine yesterday and I love it.  I liked it so much that I went back to order the matching wallet.  Please post when you get yours.  I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.

I have the Edie in black in 42" and wear it as my every day bag-- unless a special occasion arises and I need something much smaller to wear with a dress.  The Edie is a lovely bag in any color.

I love the Edie Line.  Always been a favorite of mine!

Re: Coach 30% Off Thanksgiving Sale Online

Oh, Pecky...  I am so very bad!  I received it.  It was indeed lovely in that neutral shade of pink, but it had a couple of small "dings" on the gold hardware oval that houses the turnlock, when it arrived at my home in its allegedly "new" state.  I was torn, so what did I do?  I went to the Coach store to return it, possibly for an exchange for one without dings, and then I saw, in person, the bag that I have lusted over for many months-- the large, melon Tea Rose Rogue, on sale (of course!)  There it was, on a shelf, calling out to me, beckoning me to try it on!  I was wearing a black sweater and camel corduroy pants with a black coat.  The Melon Tea Rose Rogue looked positively stunning on my arm, and it complemented my skin tone to perfection, too, in a way that the new Dusty Rose colored Coach bags never will. This Melon Rogue was my dream bag, on sale for $480 less than the regular price, and I purchased it on the spot.  I am now officially done with purchasing bags for a long while, due to this extravant purchase.  The bag is more versatile than one would think, and neutral to a degree, with its burgundy, camel, melon and black flowers.  This bag will pop against so many of my clothes and coats, which are predominantly black.  In summer, it will look great against white or khaki colored clothing. (That's my justification, anyway.)

Several years back, I wanted a Dior Saddle bag so badly, and had saved up and was willing to pay the high price for it and wear it as my status bag, but when I saw the bag in person, the bag did not live up to my high expectations.  I didn't find the leather luxe enough, or the bag deep enough for my needs. That bag was a huge let down for me, and I did not purchase it as a result. (In effect, I snubbed a couture Dior shoulderbag! I must truly be a bag snob.) The Tea Rose Rogue Melon Coach bag, however, exceeded my expectations in every way, and wowed me for about $1,000 less.  That is why I caved.

Just so you know, all the other colors of the Turnlock Hobo were at the Coach store except for --- the Dark Turquoise one you purchased.  Glad you received a perfect one and a wallet to match it.

I bought the Coach Edie 31 in black from Macy's. I love the organizational quality of this bag. It's very functional for me. I had it in a lighter tan/gold version for summer and wanted the black for winter. Nice to get the 30% off. I don't have too many designer bags, so this was kind of a stretch for me.

I got my new black Edie 31 yesterday and examined it inside and out. It's in perfect condition! I was surprised that there is only one inner slip pocket for a phone and no other slip pocket. You need to put your phone in horizontally or it could possibly fall out. My summer Edie which was purchased at a Coach Outlet store had two inner pockets, but isn't nearly as nice as this new one.  After carrying the purse from the outlet (gently) for a few months, the leather started to flake and look terrible.

Re: Coach 30% Off Thanksgiving Sale Online

Gotta love Coach's customer service.  Last week I ordered a bag and matching wallet on sale.  Today I get an email that all sale items are now 50% until Christmas.  Both things I ordered were indeed 50%. I called CS asking if I could get a price adjustment and with no questions asked they issued the credit. Between both of them I saved an additional $75.

@Jersey Born  How are you liking your Tea Rose Rogue?  I want to return the turnlock hobo for either the turquoise prairie rivet bag or the bigger prairie rivet bag in oxblood.  I can't decide which one and the sales ends tonight.  Is the bag heavy?

Re: Coach 30% Off Thanksgiving Sale Online

Good morning, Pecky!  I just unwrapped my new, Melon Tea Rose Rogue, and she is a beauty weighing in at 2.5 lbs unstuffed!  I have already loaded her up with my wallet, sunglasses, brush, keys, phone, etc. and the bag does not seem too heavy, to me, as the double straps are not heavy on the bag, and as I am used to carrying the larger Edie bag, which is not a lighter weight bag.  Considering what I carry around with me every day, I kind of need a heavier bag.

I love the two bags you have your eyes on, but for me, I need the additional space in the larger Rogue bag.  I think the weight of the Riveted Rogue would be kind of similar to the weight of the Tea Rose Rogue, because even if the Riveted Rogue does not have studded leather flowers on it, it does have metal rivets that definitely have some weight to them.  The riveted bags are beautiful, too, and I was very close to purchasing the riveted Black Dakota Satchel, and I would have, if I didn't want something to break away from my usual black bag.  It was very hard for me not to purchase that bag.

For you, it will be a matter of which bag serves its function best for you-- a larger, or a smaller bag, or a turquoise versus an oxblood bag.  I know you are drawn to the dark turquoise color of the smaller Rogue, so that might make the difference for you. They are both beautiful, so you cannot go wrong with either.  Good luck with your decision!
