@SharkE I don't see if you said...but I'm guessing not real leather for $42. I get it if you only care about having the "look for less." Although, maybe it is, sometimes Amazon can manage even leather at low price points...still you get what you pay for.
As for me, if I wanted that tooled style, I'd go for real leather, in a notable brand that would last me "forever." Some get better with age.
I like the Patricia Nash bags (though I realize we have fans and also those who aren't impressed with the brand, here. I have two of her bags and love them both. Neither are the tooled look, though.)
Also, I second the American West brand, and that would be my first choice for this type bag. I worked in a Southwestern boutique, here in CT! (an anomoly here, but the owners had a passion for the Southwest and Native American jewelry, and traveled to New Mexico, Arizona for goods at least 3 times a year.) It was a beautifully appointed store...we carried American West handbags...really beautiful and, at least in our store, they were not out-of-site expensive, especially for the craftsmanship. Also, if anything happened to the bag, AW would repair them. (I forget if there was a cost involved.)
@SharkE Anyhoo...pretty looking bag, but I'd go for the real deal if it was me. Enjoy if you get it, hope it works out.
