Or is this Chanel hideous?

It's $4,000 on Beg, Borrow and Steal, so, I assume it's also used. 

Is it my uneducated bag palate, that makes me think I wouldn't dream of paying $40 for this, never mind $4,000!

Is this a beauty, and alas, I have no taste?

It just goes to show that many will pay for the brand name but I'm sure there are some that may actually like it.

This looks like an ill conceived what-to-do-with-your-old-jacket, do-it-yourself, project. It looks ridiculous. Anyone who'd pay that kind of money for it is in dire need of a psychiatric work-up.
