Has anyone seen or purchased the Coach "Cassie"
or it's smaller sister "Cassie 19"?
The Cassie comes in at around 10 inches wide with top handle and shoulder strap which is removable.
The smaller "Cassie 19" comes with 3 straps - a shoulder or crossbody strap, small strap and chain.
All are removable.
I'm interested in the Chalk and black color's for travel. Prefer lighter colors so would get the larger Cassie in Chalk (off white) and the Cassie 19 in black. Both will go easily from day to night and I would put chain on white for night. Such versatility.
I watched some YouTube video's and one can switch out and put the 9"chain from Cassie 19 onto the regular Cassie for a dressier evening look.
They get great reviews. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
By the way the leather is pebbled so they will wear well.
Cassie is almost identical to Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis" less the large price tag.
Here are some pic's.
Cassie in Chalk with one removable shoulder strap:
CASSIE 19:
I would use top handle and add chain for evening
only. They look good together.

As a comparison and discounted
Coach Outlet also has a similar look in the Marlie in Chalk.
The Cassie has organized compartments
The Marlie has more of a center compartment
Coach Outlet also has the Marlie in quilted black
I played with the Cassie in Macy's but found it too small for my needs. Very pretty and well made though...let us know what you decide
I lug around a slim wallet, glasses, small make-up bag, and an iPhone 8. And now a hand sani and extra mask.
I am addicted to Coach Outlet zip top totes
I read the Coach Purse Forum everyday "which Coach are you carrying today" and Cassie is a favorite of many of the regular posters

Hi @hicindy2 . Thanks so much for your input.
Can I order the Marlie in Chalk online? To me
it looks pretty similar and has the chain.
I agree about thre size but they will be just for travel
and will go from day to night.
Does Marlie come in black? haha....could get them in chalk and black.
Yes, the reviews are great and it seems the style will be around for awhile since it's so popular.
@hicindy2 edited to add: I just saw the chalk on line. What a deal. tough decision. Marlie does come in black but no chain and I prefer pebbled leather.
A bonus is Marlie has more depth to it at 2.75". Fits more stuff. lol.
And I'm looking at the totes too.

Sure: go to Coach Outlet dot com and create an account. The reason for that is, once you select the bag, you have 15 minutes to complete the purchase. That way you are not rushed.
Also, they may send you an email discount for your first purchase So, wait for confirmation and an introductory email.
I use Paypal. They ship out of Florida and I have had no issues. Has to come clear to California. Customer Service also answers the phone. What a concept !!
My Outlet purchases are first rate, carefully wrapped, with the original tags at the full price. The Marlie is $139 and free shipping.
Chalk
That snakeskin detail kind of jazzes it up
Classic Black
Also, the site has a "ruler" feature where you can put in your height etc. and it will show how the bag will look.
Current ratings on the Marlie:
"This is my 4th Coach bag. I usually carry larger bags, but I am in love with this one! It holds much more than I thought it would. I highly recommend this bag."

I am holding out till March 7'th for Denim
See, a new world of temptation

@hicindy2 I think the chalk is a great deal. Cassie $350.00
versus $139.00 on Marlie. Hmmm......
Then I could still get the small black Cassie 19 and change out the shorter chain strap to the Marlie for evening wear when I wear light colors.

I have a Cassie and rarely use it. I liked the way everything fit and it's was small enough for me which I loved BUT, the strap kept coming unhinged from the bag and it would fall to the floor usually when I was getting out of the car but once just randomly as I was walking in the grocery store. I also got the Cassie 19 and it had the same identical problem. No more Coach for me even though I still like some of their bags.

I really like the larger denim bag. I can't wait for it to become available. I also had the Cassie 19 and I sent it back for the same issue the other poster stated. The strap kept coming undone. It also happened with the Tabby.

@Pecky , @Meowingkitty I read about the strap issue too. I saw on YouTube and The Purse Forum
you have to put the strap on a certain way (backwards, forwards I don't know). This should solve the issue.
I was on the Bloomingdales site and it said hardware
is gold. Think they are wrong. However looking at other sites which say brass and also the pictures the hardware looks brass to me. Are your's brass especially the 19 with chain? I'm not a big fan of brass.
Thanks for input.
