love a bag with a kiss lock!! chic.!I think I am now on the hunt for one also!!  I met a lady that wants to buy my vintage bags and gave me her information if I want to sell.  Of course I don't but, It is nice to know that someone else appreciates them beside me!  i am still carrying a coach wallet, coin purse and cosmetic bag that is over 30 years old.  Still hanging in!!

@SportyShorty07 - yes! I had to sit down and show my husband close up where the C's were. It took a few tries. 😀 The logo is so pretty and subtle, doesn't scream "LOOK AT ME!", and the leather is so nice. The turnlock makes all the difference for me. I don't care for snap closures.

@stellabystarlight  - I think it depends on the bag and what you're looking for within the specific brand. Comparing my new Coach to my beloved Dooneys, I'd say the quality and craftsmanship are equivalent. Dooney pebble leather is my favorite, but the smooth leather on my Cassie is very, very nice. For that matter, so is the coated canvas! And the stitching and piping are beautiful. I feel like it will hold up well alongside my Dooneys. We'll see!

@BrandNewBag  Yes 🙌😁! The signature C logo print is so pretty and so subtle- really artfully done! I like that it took your husband a few tries to recognize the subtle C print- it really is very subtle.  The turnlock Coach clasps are so great- I love the added security of the turnlocks on my Coach purses. Coach leather is so soft and luxurious.

I have a Coach Parker purse that has the subtle signature C print on the front pocket. I love my Coach purse collection. Your fabulous Coach Cassie 19 can be worn year round and it can go with so many great outfits! Such a beautiful new Coach purse and thank you for the great photo of your purse. 🤗. Great username, "Brandnewbag"- I love the excitement of a new handbag purchase!

i have/had several coach bags through the years.

i think they got SO popular they over saturated the market and were not as 'special'.

i have since sold a few on Poshmark since i no longer liked the style.  sold pretty quickly so i am happy they have a second life.!

the did wear like iron (leather)   some of the fabric ones showed wear.

i have moved on to Aimee K bags.  a little more edgy, and up to date.

I have a few Coach bags from  the 1970s. Back then, they were usually under $100 but that was expensive for the time.  They are all unlined leather, the zippers are heavy duty and they have registration numbers.  They always had basic classic colors.  The one tote I have has an outside kiss-lock pouch on the front which was one of their standard features then.  I also have the original Coach boxes they came in.  I will not part with them!

Me too. I have only one from the 70's with its box. I think it was called the Prarie Bag. Unlined smooth black leather with a very long crossbody strap and a turn style fastener. I saved up to buy it at Dillards. Also have a Coach French purse style wallet in tan that I've used for decades. Shoe repairman was able to replace the broken snap closure because wallet was such good quality. Can't repair most anything made these days.

I retired 5 years ago and still using my Coach Pebble Leather tote bag similar to this one when I'm out and about, I purchased it on sale at Macy's over 10 years ago, the leather is so soft, I keep telling myself to change into a smaller purse, haven't done so yet.

Don't like those bags with all the C's on them.

walking free advertisement for the brand.
