Re: CHANGE OUT BAGS REGULARLY?

No.  I have a leather bag that I've been using for about a year.

My only change is fron handbag to beltbag when I just need my credit cards and keys for a quick trip to the store.

Recently I've been thinking about switching from my "big black hole"  British tan leather bag to one of my smaller colorful nylon bags.

No...and that's why I gave away most of my expensive bags, figured someone might as well get some use out of them!

Once I discovered the Lug Ranger 2 Medium Crossbody, I never looked back. Bought one in Sand Taupe (spring/summer) and one in Black (fall/winter). It has a built in wallet, a perfectly placed cell phone pocket, and tons of other organization.

I did save one small Dooney and one small MK bag, just in case I ever really need a somewhat dressy bag, but in 2 years they haven't come out of the closet!

I also LOVE the Ranger 2. And matching wallet/wristlet. However I was dumb to buy it in the gorgeous but doesn't -go -with -anything bright tropical print. So it sits in a closet.

I do.  Maybe not as often as I'd like.  I have at least 20 handbags (used to have more), and I like to rotate them.

Part of me envies women like you, who are this minimalist. How is this possible? Don't you ever get a headache and need some Tylenol? Need to use eye drops? What about Kleenex? Where do you put your sunglasses? So many questions. I need answers. Lol.

Re: CHANGE OUT BAGS REGULARLY?

A topic I love to discuss 😍 As I mentioned in another thread, I like to shop my closet and change bags every few days. What I stopped doing as of today, is changing out my wallets. Hassle! So today I streamlined by putting my bank and credit cards in a Kate Spade card holder that I was gifted. I put my ID, medical device card and health insurance cards in a small 4x3 fabric wallet. Along with some cash. These two items are now residing in the sand color Lug Carousel XL 2 that came today.
Saturday I'm expecting a midnight blue Dooney zip zip satchel.
I enjoy carrying the two Patricia Nash purses that I have, they are in regular rotation.
Of course being a purse person, I have a variety of sizes and styles for different purposes. The big Baggallini tote in champagne color with matching wristlet, will go on my cruise this summer and to Thailand later this year. The tiny Baggallini crossbody is so useful for excursions when I want to be hands free. Easily scrunches up and could be stored in the big tote when I travel.

Re: CHANGE OUT BAGS REGULARLY?

I carry a smaller leather bag (pale pink Talbots recently) and if I need more I throw it in a big pretty Talbots, Vera Bradley or old Coach tote bag and away I go.

Today I discovered a stash of black quilted Vera Bradley purses and totes with initials on them that I carried the last year or two I worked.  So I am going to use those too!  See what cleaning your closets does?  Woman Very Happy

I only use a small crossbody and carry all those things. My bags typically are 8 x6x2 at the most. I don't carry "what if" stuff.

@4kitties   That wicker bag is so cute. I love having a straw bag for summer.

@smoochy  Those beautiful prints are hard to resist...but I usually wear a print top, so solids work better for me.

Re: CHANGE OUT BAGS REGULARLY?

[ Edited ]

I absolutely change bags!  I have my larger one when I'm going to the office, or someplace where a larger bag and my wallet are needed.   Then I'll use a crossbody to go to the store or a restaurant.   I'll pull all the necessities out of my wallet and put it in the crossbody with a lipstick, my phone and my readers.

I like to change the crossbodies that I use (I think I have about 2 dozen) and also the larger bag,  but not as often on the larger one.

I have two closets where part are devoted to a closet organizer (that my husband installed).  One has all my gorgeous leather bags (all sizes and shapes) and the other my fabric bags.  Most of my crossbodies are on a large hook.

The D&B are not heavy for me at all...  and I have them in all sizes and shapes.

Enjoy your bags/bag no matter how many or few you own.
