image.jpegThe Elisa Dark Rum Sol. I've never owned a Brahmin.  They seem like they could be heavy bags.

This one is pricey, $435. It's going on my wish list, though, I think it's beautiful.

Yea - that's one pretty car payment.
Every bag is different but I feel like Brahmins are slightly lighter than many Dooney's.

Brahmin bags are way lighter than D&B, the reason I prefer a Brahmin for many occasions.  It depends on where I am going and what I am doing.  I have a D&B of about 3 years ago (not sure if it is a shopper or a satche or what, about $400), which I love for carrying my tablet, a shorthand pad, my wallet, a bank bag for making changes or collecting checks.  If I am going to church, I like the Brahmin (more ladylike bags)  This bag would not appeal to me.  I am a solid-color person as opposed to prints or ombres.  Color me old-fashioned but I like simple handbags and simple clothes.

Suhse:  Brahmin makes beautiful handbags and the one you like is stunning.  Some Brahmin handbags are very light weight and some are heavy.  In my experience, the satchels, especially those with rolled handles tend to be on the heavier side.  The totes are often lighter weight.

Brahmin has several outlets, you can find their locations on the Brahmin web site.

Re: Brahmin Fans

[ Edited ]

Definitely not coming home with me. The last thing I need, at the moment, is another bag, especially one close to $500.

I saw saw this bag, because, I get emails from Brahmin. I honestly don't know why, no recall of providing them my email.  Am I sleep shopping?

OH NO🙄

If a💙Louis Vuitton shows up at my door, and my retirement fund, has been seriously depleted, time for a nice long "rest", at a friendly place, with locked doors!

The dept store I worked in sold these bags, and I love the white.  My problem is also they're really big are so tiny.  Really pretty but I just can't tolerate the weight.

Does anyone know if there is a Brahmin club that can be contacted? I have been a Brahmin fan for many years and have collected a great many beautiful bags. My problem is that I am retired and only carry the D&B little pouchette bags now. Don't need to carry all my stuff with me anymore and would like to find new homes for my bags. Not interested in ebay. Any suggestions ladies?

@whitedogs  I'm sure the simple act of "googling" could answer your question.  I have a number of Brahman but have also gone to smaller bags.  Never heard of a club.
