Blogger's Aimee Kestenberg bag

Hey all, there's a blogger that I follow daily, via email subscription, and in her post today she had this Aimee Kestenberg bag A269943 (sorry, don't know how to post pic of the bag). It was a TSV a while ago. The blogger had it in what appeared to be the charcoal color and she said that QVC gifted her the bag. I'm curious to hear about this "gifting" process to bloggers if anyone has any input. I might just end up asking the blogger, but not sure if I will. TIA!

Its possible they give away merchandise to people who may be influential in promoting products.

Thanks,  Kachina624, that's what I thought. But I was wondering how vendors determine which bloggers to gift items to, that process.
