Best Way to Clean a Leather Bag?

Was out this weekend and spilled lemonade on my leather bag. I used a hand wipe and thankfully, it worked. The stain was gone when it dried. It made me want to get something that is actually good for cleaning the leather just in case. Anyone want to share something you had a good experience with? TIA

I use old-fashioned "saddle soap".

You can buy leather cleaner/conditioner.  I've gotten it on Amazon.

@Renata22 .  I've used Leather Only conditioner for years, I purchase at the Lexus dealership but it is available online.  Smells great and works beautifully.

Leather cleaner in a spray bottle is great for easy leather clean ups.  Saddle soap takes more effort.  I have also found that baby wipes are a good alternative if you don't have leather cleaner because they are very gentle.

@Renata22 - I agree with everyone else here about the leather cleaner, but I would also contact the company and see what they say.

Years ago I got something (I don't know what exactly) on one of my favorite Coach bags. I called their customer service for advice. They sent me a label to send it to them. A few weeks later it came back to me good as new and very cleaned up. If I didn't know for sure I would have wondered if it was "my" bag!  Smiley Wink

Thanks so much , everyone. I appreciate the answers. I did contact the company & they told me to only use a soft cloth. But the baby wipe I used on the lemonade worked, so I know I can do that if I have to.

There are many handbag cleaners and conditioners on Amazon.  Most work for leather boots and shoes too.
